Maria Kay Simms * Lunation Cycle * Mars conjoins Neptune * Mercury conjoins Uranus
Welcome to another exciting episode of the Cosmic Weather, where we have a special focus on the events of the Blast Astrology Conference coming up this week. Hundreds of astrologers are flocking to Sedona, Arizona to take part in a special event that some are calling the "Woodstock" of Astrology. Don't miss this event, envisioned and created by astrologer Moses Siregar III. So come join Moses and friends in the desert and get enlightened.
I will be filming the conference in HD, and so if you can't go but want to see these amazing lectures, you can always purchase a DVD from Moses in early May!
Also this week, we've got Astrology Illustrated with a discussion of Moon Phases! We take a look at another book review of Soul Tides, Moon Passages by Maria Kay Simms, a true wise elder and artist of astrology. We also took time to check out her natal chart in our Supernova Star segment. Enjoy the show, and at last I hope to see you in Sedona. Benjamin will be there too performing his Guirilla Marketing for Astrologers Lecture. And on Sunday we have the 1971 lineup with Maurice Fernandez, Eric Meyers, Bill Street, and me! It should be exciting, especially since my Tao of Astrology lecture starts just two minutes before the Mercury conjunction to Uranus. We'll see what the cosmos has in store!
Here's the link and enjoy the cosmic journey into the ever-emerging rhythmic archetypal resonance!
The fun, free podcast that deepens your astrological wisdom!

Cosmic Weather 73!
Rick Tarnas * NCGR Keynote Speech * Mars oppose Saturn
I returned from the annual NCGR National conference last Monday, but was in no mood to record the show. After working so hard at the conference to capture 19 hours of High Definition footage for the astrology documentary, I came down with an incredible sickness that took me out for a week. I'm still coughing. What a season of release! Eclipses are like that. At the hotel on Friday March 9th, I went to bed at 7:30 PM and began shivering and shaking, and my temperature rose to 103! I felt like Zeus (Jupiter is conjunct my Ascendant) was striking me with lightning bolts all night, and like the bed was a sea of sweat. Nevertheless, after some internal rebirthing, I was able to go strong into the next two days, but when Monday rolled around, I crashed hard! Sorry for no show last week!
I had the great honor and pleasure of meeting and sharing time with Doctor Rick Tarnas, the revered astrologer and scientist who wrote both the Passion of the Western Mind and Cosmos & Psyche. I think I filmed 8 hours of footage just on him alone. His archetypal workshop was amazing. His interview was brilliant! And his Keynote address, which we have for you to hear in our Astrology Illustrated segment was inspiring!
Hope you enjoy the heck out of the show, and excuse my coughing!

Cosmic Weather 72!
David Gilmour * Sun Conjunct Uranus * Eclipses Revisited
Finally, Mercury goes direct this week, and whew! What a week it's been! We are finally on the Dark Side of the Moon. The Cosmic Weather server crashed from some crazy national virus, and we couldn't upload a show all week, so we waited to record when the server was rebirthed.
The yogurt has hit the proverbial fan and everyone I know has been intensely stressed out with Saturn oppose Neptune, dissolving realities, Mercury Retrograde in Pisces and late Aquarius, and all the Lunar Full Moon Eclipse business conjucnt Uranus. Anything could've happened and it certainly did.
On a positive note, I'm traveling with Benjamin tomorrow to Maryland for the annual NCGR gathering of astrologers. It should be an amazing conference and I'm starting my astrology documentary! So if you're at the confererence and would like to volunteer, I'll be there! Woohoo!
Here's the link. Enjoy!
