Scorpio New Moon * Jupiter Trine Pluto * The Sky is Falling...

Well the Sky isn't falling, but it is experiencing a lot of turbulence from the astral realms, where the archetypes abide. Sorry I've been so absent of late, I've been readjusting to the arid climate and high altitude for the past three months processing two sicknesses...so my throat was sore and I could barely talk. That really sucks when your profession depends on your ability to communicate with the voice and make it inspiring. So after getting behind on lots of charts, I have just three more to go!

With the New Moon in Scorpio the sign of rebirth, we are being asked to CHANGE and RE-EMPOWER our deepest dreams and visions, especially in the house that hosts the New Moon. We've also got an incredible T-square between Neptune, Mars and Venus with Venus/Mercury. The Apex of the configuration is the Venus/Mercury Athena mythic signature over in Scorpio...should be a fascinating halloween!

Capricorn Full Moon * Astrology Guild

For this wonderful Full Moon, my first since fellow astrologer Peter Roth and I moved into our new place in Boulder Colorado, I recorded the first meeting of the Astrology Guild as the Full Moon podcast.

With the illumination arriving in the sign of serious accomplishment, and activating productivity, the focus was to discuss the transits of the coming two weeks where Mercury and Venus are going to change Signs along with the Sun entering Leo. So exciting change is just around the corner even after this intense eclipse season that has already been a great tide of transformation.

Despite the world and its obvious decline, people are still alive and kicking and doing their part to make the world glow. If you step into your gifts and do what you love with passion, what legends will be written about your life in the end? We are all on a journey together in this world, and times of great adversity require heroic people to emerge.

So tune out the dark news designed to keep you in misery and controlled, and focus on the things and people you love. Taurus New Moon * Mars conjunct Jupiter * Elemental Wave Chronicles

Under the last Full Moon I was caught up in the swell of divine inspiration as I published my first astrology written work since 1997! In my new book, Elemental Wave Chronicles-The Jupiter-Saturn Cycle, a grand vision of the historical Elemental Epochs and Waves of history are laid out in detail. Enjoy as I go back to working on my magnum opus astrological masterpiece in the Tao of Astrology.

This time has been huge. With the NFL Draft, a Royal Wedding and the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden all in one Balsamic Phase weekend, times are not boring that's for sure! Obama proved to his skeptics once again that his leadership and discernment are high and capable of giving tough orders to take out America's worst nightmarish enemies. As a Leo with Aquarius Rising and a Gemini Moon, I for one am proud to have voted for him and supported his presidency.

In the weeks ahead, we have some big shifts with all those warrior planets in Aries heading into Taurus. Things will settle down into the natural productivity of Spring. With Mars conjunct Jupiter right now, it is time to get motivated to reach for the heights, to be inspired. In the words of Martin Luther King Jr. "I have been to the mountain top!"

What is your personal mountain top this month as things emerge from Aries and flow into Taurus. Where is this New Moon falling in your chart? For me it's in my 5th House of creativity, so every year during this period I am faced with the question, "Am I having fun yet? Am I truly enjoying my life?" If not, then why not...time to plant new planet seeds so that by November, when the full moon in Taurus comes, I'll be totally fulfilled in my creativity! Woo hoo!

Aries New Moon * Jupiter Oppose Saturn * Neptune enters Pisces

There's so much going on in the heavens these days it's difficult to even sit in a chair without your head spinning! With epoch-shifting generation tides happening all three outer planets are in new Signs: Pluto had already gone into Capricorn, Uranus shocked the world with it's Uranus Ingresses several times, and now today Neptune enters Pisces, sign of the divine imagination.

People wondered what happened to the podcast last month? Well, I was in Santa Cruz caught up in visions and writing about history. I really could not stop to do a podcast amidst the tide of energy that was coming in, and I'm not talking about the earthquake/tsunami warning! People are dying and the ages are shifting as the Earth revolts against our puny excuses for civilizations. Until we make inner peace, outer chaos will be the result. So take a deep breath and ask yourself what you are living for? What are you breathing and consuming resources for? What are you loving in your life right now? These questions will lead you to an awakening of purpose.

Purpose is a strategy game between your consciousness and the universe, but affected by the tides of cultural conformity. What are you conforming to? Do you want to conform to it? If so, then are you enjoying it or are you in complaint mode. All complaints can be dealt with in the inner plane of the soul...the divine has a mysterious power of being able to reconcile oppositions and tensions and can deal with all your frustrations. You got a problem? Take it to divine being for resolution. Then see what happens in the so-called real world. I say so-called, because after swimming in historical tides for over a month my perspective has shifted in a huge way. That's what happens when you solve history!

Leo Full Moon * Sun Mercury Mars Enter Pisces * Jupiter square Pluto

Are you having fun yet? That's the crux of an illuminating Full Moon in the sign of the Magical Child, the clown of the zodiac!
At this moment, our creativity rises to the surface to ask if we are being creative based on what we started 6 months ago when the New Moon was in Leo in August. I was riding my bike through Canada then getting ready to head south over the Cascades into Seattle to meet my kid and it was in my 8th House of change. How is is influencing you?

This is the time that the SUn and its noble courtiers Mercury and Venus enter the Sign of Pisces, a symbol of unity consciousness. But this year Mars, the First Knight is entering Pisces with the Sun as Venus lags back in serious Capricorn.

Also, with Jupiter square Pluto, time to challenge your faith to go deeper. How can you express faith and deepened your belief systems based on your ability to doubt and then find truth despite your doubt. That gives you more faith than everything!

Look for an article soon about the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction traversing into the Air signs...what a deep breath of fresh air!

New Moon in Aquarius * Sun, Moon, Mars Conjunction TRINE Saturn

It's going to be an exciting week in the heavens, plus it's my birthday on Feb 5th, and I'll be turning 40! The BIG 4-0!
Woo hoo! They say, "Life begins at Forty." We'll see how it goes, this next decade of trading possessions for experiences.

The Mars conjunction to the New Moon in the sign of invention and authenticity is asking for use to take the road less traveled once again in the House or field of life experience that hosts the lunation. What new beginning can you make in the themes related to the House that hosts the New Moon, so that by the Full Moon in Aquarius in August, you are fulfilled.

The Green Bay Packers (Venusian Cheeseheads are facing off with the Pittsburg Steelers (Mars) for the Superbowl. With Venus and Saturn in Mutual Reception I think the heavens favor the Packers. At the same time Egypt is in revolt as their leader faces his government's Saturn Return. We'll see what happens! I hope the Egyptian people can find a new path forward into a greater good.

Cancer Full Moon * Jupiter Sextile Sun * Sun and Mar in Aquarius

As I post this Cosmic Weather, I've just heard some news that Robert Blaschke, a great and master astrologer has passed from this earth. Robert appeared in my first film Return of the Magi and brought great wisdom to people through astrology. He will be missed dearly by the astrological community.

Interesting how during this episode I was discussing the preponderance of Septiles during the next two week period, the 54 degree angle that symbolizes angelic intervention. It will be a period to be remembered.

Capricorn New Moon * Solar Eclipse * Jupiter conjunct Uranus

Another New Year's goes by, and yet we feel in the depths of our being, not so new...yet...the earth herself is resetting her energetic field under this early January New Moon with a partial solar eclipse that intensifies things and asks us to plant a really potent seed in the House that hosts the New Moon.

This is the time of the year that sees us slowly emerging from the Winter Solstice point, and rhymes with the New Moon phase, coming into life as a baby, and the Digestive System. It's time to digest new food to make for new energy when Springtime comes...what are you chewing on in terms of the physical, mental, emotional, and archetypal dimensions of experience...which together come together as the spiritual dimension.

At this time, we also get to enjoy the company of the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction and feel the tide of unusual opportunities upon us, swelling in their revelation of the infinite brew happening within and reflected without. As within, so Without: As without, so within...basic cosmic law in action. The relativistic dynamics of the soul's descent into matter to carve heaven in earth continues, and you may play a glorious part, even if you remain a passive observer, watching the mystery unfold!

So what part will you play in this gleaming round of the soul. Forget your worries...you'll be dead and gone from this form very soon...and start to focus on what really matters to you, the things you loved that will really bring on the tears at the funeral...but how will they know unless you cultivate the courage of a warrior and the creativity of a child to invoke the magic of meaning?

Hello everyone! The Cosmic Weather is back for it's first New Moon podcast in a long time! And it is a dynamic one indeed. This is the time of the year in the northern hemisphere where we get to tell stories around the fire and synthesize our yearly actions into wisdom and meaning. As always the New Moon is about planting a Seed Intention based on where it falls in your natal chart.

We've also got Mercury going Retrograde on December 10th and conjuncting both Mars and Pluto in the process! This is the time to make your Christmas list of things you want to fix, repair, replace, edit, interpret, and heal. That way you won't get blindsided by the shift in mental energy from a place of active streaming to passive introversion. Sagittarius Full Moon * Jupiter conjunct Uranus in Aries!

Oh my the sky is ascending as Jupiter the Sky-father uplifts Ouranos the deity of the starry heavens! Everyone is about to receive new Marching orders and get devoted to the new tasks and opportunities that present themselves. Especially with Mars finally cruising into Virgo after a six month stint in Leo. Mars can only handle so much narcissism before he implodes with rage.

This is one of those moments we were born to experience, the planetary shift in culture, the ecological disaster of the oil spill that will lead to greater concern for nature and natural processes, the introduction of new solar powered chargers and batteries that work, the end of the industrial age as we know it. Not to mention to creation of the I-pad by apple, a device that is so elegant and cool, that it resembles the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (especially if you download the telescope app!)

I woke up this morning thinking about my journey around the world by bike and grabbed my I-pad and started finding all these cool apps for writers, for designers, for artists, for mind-mappers, for astrologers, etc. I also started downloading books, both through the Kindle app and the i-book store. Amazing! You can even turn the pages on the i-books. I downloaded a 13 hour compilation of Alan Watts breaking down eastern religion as well as my favorite poet David Whyte doing 6 hours on cultivating spiritual disciplines in everyday life. Very cool to listen to while riding my bike across the great Northwest this summer.

Taurus New Moon * Grand Square * Uranus enters Aries

It feels like one of the most pivotal summers of the century astrologically! And this simple, serene Taurus New Moon which promises every year to usher in the Spring in the northern hemisphere (and of course its polar opposite Autumn in the southern hemisphere) is also happening at the same point in the Zodiac where Jupiter met Saturn under the ominous Y2K non-event of the Year 2000. It was May 28th when these two cultural titans met to launch the last 20 year period of the old faltering Industrial Revolution marked by their conjoinment in the earth signs for about 172 years.

IN the year 2020, they will meet at 0 degrees Aquarius and usher in a new error of global enlightenment and technological innovation. I've been saying for ten years that 2010 will be the turning point of our era as the new inventions propel us toward the amazement of the future. So here we are, the summer of 2010, and the planets that aligned in Virgo (Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, and Jupiter) to bring us Woodstock in '69 are back at it again. Will it be a summer of love?

I don't think so with the T-Cross configuration that glues the energy together, sowing much conflict and separation. But either way, we'll be moving into a new decade with superior technology, superior communication networks, and volcanoes and earthquakes erupting around us!

There's a lot going on in the sky this week, including Mercury retrograde. But with the intense dark moon over, the Aries new moon has swept in to re-energize us for a true march into Springtime! Enjoy the fiery expression!

Libra Full Moon * Venus/Mercury into Taurus * Pluto T-Cross

Eric and I present our last Cosmic Weather while sitting in the same Coffee Shop with this epic Full Moon in Libra to bring illumination and vision to new partnerships and relationships in general. The universe is alive and kicking with new energy for new directions with all this regeneration going on. Old lives are fading while new ones are picking up steam.

With Eric relocating to Asheville to essentially take my place but in his own unique elemental way, I have decided not to settle anywhere at all. I'm embarking on a new adventure of long-term global travel, inspired by the books Vagabonding by Rolf Potts and the Four Hour Workweek by Tim Ferris. I've returned to my roots in Boulder to hit a deep cosmic reset button before I go off in a new direction of bringing astrology and enlightenment to the world as a true traveling Magi. I wonder who will be coming along for the journey of transformation!

With Venus and Mercury shifting into Taurus, we'll all start to feel a little more grounded in the process of change, able to let go of old worn paths and possessions to move into liberating new lifestyles. Lately, I've been reading "The Four Hour Work Week" by Timothy Ferris at the same time as "Vagabonding" by Rolf Potts and what a revolution of consciousness to be had. I highly recommend you acquire these two books and read them at the same time! OMG!

I feel like the Universe is hitting the reset button in my heart, my body, my whole life. I'm so excited I can't even contain it as I prepare to fly back to NC on Monday to begin dismantling my old life. This from a recent post of mine on Facebook explains it all:

"Having dispelled the illusions of my most recent dream of love, I've returned as a global citizen, blissful in the face of the glorious uncertainty before me, having conquered my fears by simply defining them...Life is Euphoric!"

Virgo Full Moon * Jupiter conjunct Sun * Venus Conjunct Uranus

Eric Meyers and I recorded a Virgo Full Moon podcast live from Borders bookstore with a wondrous panoramic view of the Flatirons. As I continue to deal with the end of my relationship Eric is excited to be moving to Asheville next month with his love. Life is strange right now. I'm beginning to think that the universe is conspiring to get me mobile and free for the upcoming global crisis T-Cross that's bound to shake up everything in June and July. We'll see what happens!

I'm following the synchronicities each day and meeting amazing people. After we recorded the podcast a lady came up to us and expressed strong interest in astrology and we had an amazing time decoding her birth chart. Turns out that's she's an academic psychologist type with an archetypal Jungian focus. We had a great connection. Aquarius New Moon * Chiron conjunct Neptune

Welcome to the Boulder Edition of the Cosmic Weather Podcast as I've recently relocated to my favorite city on the earth, Boulder Colorado, a true return of this Magi!

Eric and I got together at the Book End coffee shop on Pearl Street Mall to record an intriguing conversation about the Aquarian New Moon and the ramifications of not only the Chiron Neptune Conjunction, but also the ongoing tumultuous regeneration of responsibilities and structures invoked by the Pluto Saturn square.

Nevertheless, interesting times are ahead as Jupiter planet of inspiration speeds through the oceanic waters of Pisces to make its predestined appointment with Uranus at the beginning of the fire sign Aries, which only promises to change the world with the introduction of revolutionary inventions that will lead us into the full fledged experience of the Aquarian Renaissance!

On the treadmill at the YMCA this morning I watched the morning sun rise only to dissappear into a giant looming cloud and the following poem lines poured out of me at the coffee shop later:

The Sun rose again only to be swallowed by a great purple spreading cloud. It seems like the whole world was turned upside down and the karma of old desires returned to haunt me again... Old choices and familiar voices taunt me into realizing the impermanence of anything.

I find myself on that dangerous life-defining edge of mystery and destiny again...
Waiting in the prison of my torn heart to catch the next wave, yearning to live the only life I can live...an authentic life beyond fear, beyond loss, not wallowing in my dirty soy chai...there's an experiment rising in my heart as the shards of my former life melt ... into pools of grief within...the authentic life free of struggle is sounding its silent gong and its brave vibrations are playing my soul song...

Taurus Full Moon Edition * Venus into Scorpio * Saturn squares Pluto

Welcome to another period of Cosmic Weather insights from you hosts, Kelly Lee Phipps and Eric Meyers. We love astrology, the celestial language of communing with the rhythms and cycles of life and we hope you will explore its amazing insights by listening to the podcast.

During this Taurus Full Moon period, we've got one of the great transits happening with Saturn and Pluto perfecting their square aspect, hence we called this the Lords of Darkness edition of the Cosmic Weather. This transit cycle has to do with conservative empowerment and the fear of change, and goes back to the early 80's when they made their initial conjunction. During their first square in the 90's we saw the emergence of the Right Wing power elite in government, government by the wealthy for the wealthy, a veritable Plutocracy. During the opposition the terrorist attacks of 9-11 occurred and ratcheted up the vibe of fear. With Pluto in Sag wars over religious differences were in the stars.

No we come to the final closing square as we see the crumbling of the Republican Party and the rise of the new Liberal Generation. You have Tea Party folks demonizing Obama as the Antichrist while the rest of the world welcomes the new winds of change already reflected in the regenerated diplomatic international climate. These next seven -nine years will be interesting indeed as we watch the revolution of consciousness phase in the 38 year Saturn-Pluto cycle draw to a close.

Libra New Moon Edition

Welcome to the new format for the reborn Cosmic Weather podcast. I'm very excited about my new co-host, professional astrologer Eric Meyers of Astrology Sight

Eric and I are both born in 1971 under the conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune, so this episode I introduced as the Jupiter-Neptune brothers edition of the Cosmic Weather.

Also, I've updated the format and simplified the show so we can get it to you under an hour every two weeks. We will record a show for the New Moon and another for the Full moon, covering the world transits common to everyone on a bi-weekly basis in our Cosmic Weather Forecast.

We'll still have our Astrology Illustrated segment where we'll introduce astrological principles of interpretation and look at the charts of famous people as well as the charts of listeners who email us with their birth data and questions about their lives. So don't be shy!

On Tuesday May 24th, I gave a lecture to the Asheville Friends of Astrology about the Poetic Art of Chart Synthesis. of course I recorded the talk so I could send it to the thirsting listeners of the Cosmic Weather Podcast. I know I've been in another zone lately, maybe in another dimension. In the talk I open talking about the great conjunction of Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune in Aquarius...so there's some long awaited for Cosmic Weather.

Mercury has been retrograde in my 6th house and the New Moon too, and I injured my foot, so I had to limp to my lecture on Tuesday, and I think it was the first time I ever gave a lecture while sitting down. One friend said, "It wouldn't be the same without the infamous Kelly sway!" But I think it came out great. I just wish I had another hour to lay out the ideas.

Anyway, hope you are planting cool seeds under the new Moon in Gemini we just had for this month. Who knows what they will mature into 6 months from now!

Welcome back to the re-re-emergence of the Cosmic Weather Podcast! I've been overwhelmed with both busy-ness and research and unable to be in the frame of mind to record podcasts, with the filming of Wife Swap and all that that entails. Reemergence * Uranus Oppose Saturn * Jupiter in Aquarius

Greetings humanity, friends, family, children of the Cosmos. I'm back, and better than ever. Sometimes the well runs dry, and you don't feel inspired to say anything. You just feel like listening for a few months, so that's what I did. Great thoughts have emerged like, " People will believe anything intellectually, as long as it supports how they feel" and "Sometimes your own Shadow attacks you the worst when invigorated by the actions of others." Today is my birthday and I turned 38, so that means the Sun and Moon and North Node are right back in the sky like the day I was born, so every 18 years or so, you get to start a new cycle of destiny. here's to an amazing year to come!

So anyway, lots of enjoying watching what's transpiring on our little blue planet called Earth. I loved the inauguration of Obama with the Sun and Mercury and Jupiter hugging the Midheaven that day in Aquarius. What a turning point in history! He even mentioned something about a New Age! Twice! Not that I enjoy associating myself with the goofy side of cosmic consciousness, but hey, it is a new age dawning...

Then there was that crazy Superbowl, where the Cardinals almost upset the Steelers, but instead the Steelers with a black head coach upset the record books with the only team that's ever won six superbowls. Wow, they get it done.

Also, in the Supernova Explosion of insight I talk about the Nature of the Creative Void, that deep mysterious darkness that breathes when you close your eyes. yes, that's it, right there. Let's go on a jounrey there in this podcast and contemplate the eternal power of the moment to link the yin and yang strands of time itself. I promise not to bore you! Obama Wins! * Mars into Sagittarius * Pluto into Capricorn * Polarity Shifts in Consciousness

Welcome to another belated edition of the Cosmic Weather! This week I'm traveling to Toronto to show Return of the Magi, so I'm recording two weeks of transits. I've been traveling a lot showing the film, so sorry bot the lack of Cosmic Weather episodes. I've received all of your emails, even on the road in strange coffee shops, and I know it's been tough. This week I'm catching up on astrology chart orders so if you've ordered a chart it will be in the mail by Friday! Woo HOO! Happy New Mooon in Sag!

This is the first Cosmic Weather in the new Obama Era, so I thought I'd recapture some of the spirit of that amazing night with Uranus opposing Saturn and the Moon in futuristic Aqauraius. What a night! Tears were flowing like rivers from my eyes as my family celebrated a dawning of a new Age. Barack will be the President who will guide us into the Aquarian Era as the Jupiter Satrun conjunction of 2020 will sit right on his Jupiter, and Jupiter will be there on inauguration day! Woo Hoo! Gonna be an exciting 12 years!

We'll also look at the role of Ceres, the bringer of seasons, in the collapse of the financial system through signs in the heavenly seasonal ingress charts. Wow was she ever potent!

I'm back from Sedona and Boulder! The Blast Astrology Conference was highly educational for all involved. Congratulations go out to Moses Siregar for putting together another amazing conference, can't wait to see what he'll do for the Blast III in 2010! I filmed the whole congference and will have those videos to Moses by December 9th for your purchasing/viewing pleasure! I for one thought I gave one of the best lectures of my life, if I could just stand still...I get so excited!

Anyway, this past week we've had the New Moon in Libra combined with Mercury retrograde in Libra and Mars in Libra, the sign of Lawmaking, and look what happened in our precious economy with the crazy Bailout bill. We'll look at the astrology of that as we go.

Return of the Magi * Sun oppose Pluto * Summer Solstice

Hello everyone, this Magi has finally returned after a much needed break from any responsibilities whatsoever after crafting my first ever feature documentary film on astrology, Return of the Magi. The turnout in Denver was excellent, as we had a crowd of about 600 for the World Premiere, and we had fun in the trade show selling DVDs to people. I was just excited to hold one in my hand at last! It's just me this week, as I've had a very hard time keeping a normal schedule and connecting with Krysta during this Mercury retrograde period. Hopefully we'll reconnect next week! Welcome to episode 110 everyone. I'm feeling back in the saddle, which means you'll get less coughing in this edition. Should be an intense week altogether with tax, with this T-Cross that's lining up in the cardinal signs with Mercury in Aries and Venus, plus Jupiter in Capricorn and Mars in Cancer. Hello Everyone! Sorry for the month long delay! I came down with pneumonia and Krysta had a tooth ache, so the universe was conspiring against us, but hey, we made it through it, and it's spring! I'm off the near-death bed and back in the studio!

Happy new Moon in Aries for a new beginning! And boy do I need it. Big shifts are afoot with Mercury and Venus charging into Aries to make a square to Pluto and quincunx to Saturn. Lots of potential transformations in the air!

Venus into Aquarius * Grand Earth Trine

Everyone is freaking out with Mercury retrograde in Aquarius, the sign of rebels and freedom fighters! And for the first time in weeks, we have listener questions, taking a look at charts of our loyal supporters!

Life is a continuous wave of inspiration cycling with loss and despair. If you get caught up in the hoopla, you can easily get whirled into a state of depression. So let's lift our spirits up this week, by drinking some chai with espresso, popping a couple of Excedrin, and getting down to the creative work at hand!

Creativity may be my religion! I love creating universes and characters for novels. The universe is inherently meaningful, and so whatever you put your life essence into, then you are going to receive benefits proportionally.

Meanwhile Barack Obama is hammering Clinton, which I'm psyched about. I vote for change! Yes we Can! Krysta doesn't think either candidate is liberal enough for her standards, but I'm all about Obama, who could very well be our first black president. It will be really cool to see a poster with all the past presidents heads on it with a cool black male at the end of a long string of old white men! That just seems cool!

New Moon in Aquarius * Solar Eclipse * Mercury Conjunct Chiron

It's that time of year again, where people wish me a happy birthday on Feb 5th! I'll be 37 this year and they say in astrology that's the year of your dark night of the soul, with Pluto square Pluto, but I've already passed the conjunction transit, and hey it was a lot of hard work, but I made it!

And now we have this New Moon in Aquarius which is shaping up the world on the heels of Super Bowl 42 where the Patriots attempt the impossible, to finish the season with aperfect 19-0 record. Will the NY Giants rise to the occasion as the underdog?

And then things get really heated on Super Duper Tuesday as 22 states of our once-proud and great nation go to the polls to cast their democratic vote for the next presidential nominee. On the deflated Republican side, they've scraped together 71 year old John McCain, while on the democratic side there is an interesting come from behind battle being waged by Barack Obama against the inevitable Hillary Clinton, or at least they thought she was a show in for the nomination.

I have to say, that after watching the debates and speeches, I'm casting my vote for Barack all the way, because he has given voice to a new generation of fired up people who are ready to go, and has inspired me to be the greatest human being I can be. Black Eyed Peas musician Will.I.Am got together and performed the Yes We Can song based on Barack's NH speech, after he was defeated by Clinton. We've spliced that song into the show, because it could be the most important song this year, with over 100,000 listens on youtube.com the first night it was released.

All in all, we need to learn to govern ourselves, but it's always great to have those heroic leaders who inspire us to reach further to achieve our dreams. Barack Obama is such a great man! Oh Captain my Captain, the poets would address him, for he is a true hero in this time of cynicism and despair in the world. The November election features Uranus opposed to Saturn, and that symbolizes that the election is about the future and the past...we'll see what the people really want on Super Tuesday this week, my birthday, and all I really want for a present is for Barack to win big!

The Celestial Mandala: Astrological Seasons of the Soul

Sorry 'bout the missed show last week. I was on location filming interviews with astrologers in Seattle at the NORWAC conference. What an amazing time we all had. That's three conferences under my belt and about 100 hours of HD footage. I took the red eye plane from Seattle to NC last night and had the great pleasure to watch the Full Moon in Sagittarius set out the airplane window. It was so awesome that I broke out my camera and filmed it over the mystical puffy cloudage. What a cool scene.

Six months ago with the New Moon in Sag I received a vision about creating a certain astrology documentary. Now at the Full Moon check point, I've come to ask if I'm FULLfilled in my 12th house vision, and the answer is an overwhelming yes! It has been quite the journey, and my body is tired from the strain of travel and much hard work, but now is not the time to let up. I still must film the dramatic elements of the story and edit it all together! But it was so delicious to receive a full moon vision on the plane about the exact direction I need to head in to bring the project to completion. I met with Chris Brennan and Michelle Gould of AYA, and we are teaming up to put on the movie night of your life at UAC in Denver next May. Hope to see you there!

Rick Tarnas * NCGR Keynote Speech * Mars oppose Saturn

I returned from the annual NCGR National conference last Monday, but was in no mood to record the show. After working so hard at the conference to capture 19 hours of High Definition footage for the astrology documentary, I came down with an incredible sickness that took me out for a week. I'm still coughing. What a season of release! Eclipses are like that. At the hotel on Friday March 9th, I went to bed at 7:30 PM and began shivering and shaking, and my temperature rose to 103! I felt like Zeus (Jupiter is conjunct my Ascendant) was striking me with lightning bolts all night, and like the bed was a sea of sweat. Nevertheless, after some internal rebirthing, I was able to go strong into the next two days, but when Monday rolled around, I crashed hard! Sorry for no show last week!

I had the great honor and pleasure of meeting and sharing time with Doctor Rick Tarnas, the revered astrologer and scientist who wrote both the Passion of the Western Mind and Cosmos & Psyche. I think I filmed 8 hours of footage just on him alone. His archetypal workshop was amazing. His interview was brilliant! And his Keynote address, which we have for you to hear in our Astrology Illustrated segment was inspiring!

David Gilmour * Sun Conjunct Uranus * Eclipses Revisited

Finally, Mercury goes direct this week, and whew! What a week it's been! We are finally on the Dark Side of the Moon. The Cosmic Weather server crashed from some crazy national virus, and we couldn't upload a show all week, so we waited to record when the server was rebirthed.

The yogurt has hit the proverbial fan and everyone I know has been intensely stressed out with Saturn oppose Neptune, dissolving realities, Mercury Retrograde in Pisces and late Aquarius, and all the Lunar Full Moon Eclipse business conjucnt Uranus. Anything could've happened and it certainly did.

On a positive note, I'm traveling with Benjamin tomorrow to Maryland for the annual NCGR gathering of astrologers. It should be an amazing conference and I'm starting my astrology documentary! So if you're at the confererence and would like to volunteer, I'll be there! Woohoo!

Hello Everyone, and Happy New Year! At last the Cosmic Weather features a Dead Poet! Hurray!!! And who knows, with the NFL playoffs in full swing we might get a famous football player, especially since the Superbowl is coming!

It will most likely be a week of initiating changes in your structures with Mars aligning with Pluto and the Galactic Center all trine to Saturn in Leo. Get creative and induce those new mutations according to the great rhythms of the cosmos! Also this week, relationships are in high focus as Venus once again conjuncts Chiron in Aquarius. Remember January last year, when we were all in relationship reflection/crisis mode? This year should be a little easier with no Venus retrograde into Capricorn, but nevertheless, ask yourself how you can bring more refinement and craftsmanship into your art and your partnerships!

Stephen Hawking * Jupiter in Sag * Life is good!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing Jupiter in Sag rush of divine inspiration. I know I am! I have Jupiter crossing my Jupiter, Neptune, and Mars with Neptune on my Sun, so I'm flying high with inspiration! I've even been working on my old fantasy football board game, Fantasy Gridiron! Imagine elves, dwarves, ogres and trolls , oh and, um, humans, among other races, going after it on the astro-granite for the right to be crowned Champions of Magishar, the fictional continent which acts as the setting for half the characters in my brain!

I was really inspired when I first read Mr. Hawking's book, A Brief History of Time, way back in the 80's! Black holes, space-time, event horizons, supernovae, and quantum gravity? What could be cooler than all that!

Borat * Scorpio New Moon * Sun conjunct Jupiter and into Sag!

We are turning the corner into the wonderful galactic energies of Sagittarius this week, but not before we have the New Moon hosted by the mysterious and beautiful Sign of Scorpio in all its occult granduer. I love Scorpio! It's actually my secret favorite sign because it symbolizes the taboo, and the mystery of life, of sexuality, of kundalini force flowing through the chakras! I bless each and every one of you with the power of Scorpio, the power of transmutation. I hope we all become sorcerers and alchemists of our lives over the next week! Plus I hope the Broncos can get a win against the Cheifs on Thrusday night. Ah, the struggles of humanity!

And on a funny note, we are doing the chart of Sasha Baron Cohen, the comedian with three alter-egos! He is so politically incorrect that he challenges with irony and satire all of our shadows and taboos and hatreds and shows us just how rediculous we really are, and that's okay! It's fun to contemplate the darkness, the afterlife, the dimensions that weave the universe together. And heck, with Jupiter and the Sun blasting into Sag this week with Venus and the Moon, we all better get our visions together and laugh!
